The Financial Times of Germany has named 2011’s top 25 businesswomen in Germany. Supported by Amrop Delta, the 4th annual list of influential female leaders is comprised of executives from companies and organizations with headquarters or a major subsidiary in Germany.

Since different positions and industries are difficult to compare, the jury this year presented awards in six different categories. The jury is composed of six top German female executives, among them Sabine von Anhalt, a Managing Partner of Amrop Delta in Berlin.

David Young, Managing Partner, Amrop Kohlmann & Young in Budapest, was recently re-elected First Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary for a period of two years. The AmCham in Hungary is one of the largest chambers in the country and actively lobbies the government on important business issues. David has been a member of the AmCham for 20 years and has previously served on the Board on several occasions.



Luis Conde, founding member and partner at Seeliger y Conde Group (Amrop Seeliger y Conde), was awarded the Key of Barcelona on October 6th, 2011, in recognition of his contributions in promoting the city throughout the world.

The ceremony brought together a broad representation of Catalan civil society including the Mayor of Barcelona.

In his speech, Luis Conde emphasized the potential of Barcelona to face the current crisis. He appealed to all citizens to overcome the discouragement caused by the economic recession and regain optimism in their future....



Amrop expands its global team of Context Driven executive search professionals with the addition of six new Consultants.


Katalin Indra Hollai, a Partner at Amrop Kohlmann & Young in Hungary, has recently been elected as a Member of the Board of the Hungarian-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Budapest.

She is an active member of the Board and is in charge of the HR Professionals club, organized for HR Managers of the member companies of the Chamber. Katalin is also involved in the efforts of the Chamber to bring together education and the needs of companies, especially for joint French-Hungarian higher education programmes taught in French.


Preety Kumar (New Delhi) was recently appointed to the Board of The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) of India. TERI is a Nobel prize-winning organization investigating solutions to global problems in the fields of energy, environment and patterns of development. Preety has also been nominated as the Chairperson of the Task Force on Boards & Corporate Governance of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), India’s foremost industry association.



Amrop recently welcomed 135 Partners from around the world at its annual General Assembly and World Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. With the theme ‘Amrop 2020’, Amrop’s senior consultants discussed long-term strategy and growth, as well as the changing landscape of the executive search industry. The annual meeting is an important venue for cooperation and the exchange of ideas across the 55-country global network of firms.

Amrop also honored its top performers with the annual Amrop Awards, distributed during a gala evening event in Istanbul.

Amrop’s Chairman, Ulrich Dade, was interviewed recently in Expresso, Portugal’s most important business weekly, on the importance of international experience and global profiles when recruiting management teams. In particular, Mr. Dade highlighted commented that, “Companies gain in having more women and people of several nationalities in their administration,” and that young people starting their careers should “seek for international experience at the earliest stage possible and choose a world-class company.”


Amrop recently held its first Latam regional conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Attended by Partners representing Amrop’s extensive presence in the region, meetings focused on strategic discussions around Amrop’s regional service offerings, and included keynote speakers from leading clients of Amrop in the region.


For the first time in the Philippines, an Association of Professional Executive Search Professionals (PAESPI) has been formed under the leadership of Amrop.

Amrop is pleased to release Automotive Landscape 2025, conducted in partnership with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, outlining the trends, challenges and opportunities for the global automotive industry over the next fifteen years.


Amrop’s newest member firm recently celebrated its partnership in the global network with a conference attended by 130 business executives from across the country.

The new partnership brings to the Romanian market a unique combination of the resources and global expertise of the Amrop network, as well as the deep understanding of the local business context of the Romanian partners. The Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) presented the Gardner W. Heidrick Award to Luiz Carlos Cabrera, Managing Partner, Amrop Panelli Motta Cabrera, on March 9th during the AESC 2011 Americas Conference in New York City.

The AESC’s Gardner W. Heidrick Award is presented annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the executive search consulting profession. Ulrich Dade, Chairman of Amrop, presented the 2011 award to Luiz Cabrera, a founding partner of Amrop Panelli Motta Cabrera in Brazil.
